Brighton Inshore Fishing - Catch report 21st July 2018

1st sailing with Mark, and Damo. The plan was to bump up their personal best bass. I think we accomplished that quite quickly. Great bass fishing in lovely conditions.

2nd and 3rd sailings I had Andy and his daughter Jasmine along. Jasmine is a dream to teach. She simply listens, understands, and apply's. Andy is an angler with many years experience, but one thing he had not done too much of was bassing on lures. Also a keen chef, we deicided to turn the six hours into two, with bassing on the rest of the ebb for the first session, and on to the plaice on the new flood for the 2nd session. I did advise that the plaice fishing might not be so hot, but there would be plenty of mackerel on the banks for my cheffy friend.

And that is exactly how it turned out. The bassing was excellent, with great surface lure fishing on the ever more shallow reefs. And then onto the plaice, where we found just 2 fish, both small, but plenty of gurnards and mackerel to keep action happening. A very succesful two sessions.
